Strong And Healthy In Your Soul…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on Strong And Healthy In Your Soul…

3 John 1:2, (KJV)

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

In the New Testament, John prayed that we would prosper and be in health “as our souls prosper.” One translation says “as you are strong in spirit.”

God wants your inner man to be strong and healthy because your internal condition affects your external condition.

If you are healthy in your soul, you will be healthy in your relationships, finances and every area. On the other hand, if your internal condition is negative, sour and defeated, then your life will reflect the same thing.

How do you become strong and healthy in your soul?

First of all, by making Jesus your Lord and Savior and dedicating every area of your life to Him. Then, as you meditate on and follow His Word, you are giving strength to your inner man.

You are programming your mind and heart in the right direction. You are setting yourself up to prosper and be in health in every area of your life!

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father in heaven, thank You for Your goodness.
Thank You for choosing me and setting me up to prosper in this life.
Today, I dedicate every area of my heart and mind to You.
Strengthen my inner man by Your Spirit today.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Experience The Full Blessing…

Psalm 90:12 (KJV)

“Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”

Sometimes, our days can be so full and busy that we forget how precious and fragile life here on earth really is.

It can be so easy to allow little things to creep in and steal our peace and joy.

Maybe something doesn’t go our way, or someone says something upsetting. Even traffic can cause us to get our focus off if we let it. We have to remember that each day is a gift. If we choose to focus on what’s wrong, we’ll miss the beauty that each day has to offer.

I encourage you today; don’t let the precious moments of life pass you by.

Don’t wait for holidays and birthdays to show people that you care. Remember, each day is unique and irreplaceable.

You have been given time that can be invested or wasted; hours that can be used or misused. That’s why the psalmist prayed to God, “Teach us to number our days.” He was saying, “Teach us to value every moment we’ve been given.” As you keep a proper perspective, you’ll gain a heart of wisdom.

You’ll draw closer to God and experience the full blessing that He has for you!

TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of today.
I choose to focus on the blessing of each moment instead of allowing the little things to steal my joy.
Keep me close to You always as I submit every area of my heart and mind to You.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

His Voice On Earth…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on His Voice On Earth…

1 Peter 4:11 (KJV)

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.

When God wants to speak to people on earth, do you know how He does it? Most often, He speaks through His people.

He uses our voice to bring life, healing and hope to others.

When you reach out to someone, when you’re kind and speak encouragement, God’s voice is blended with your voice. Your words become His words. The natural takes on a supernatural.

That’s why you can say something ordinary, something simple like “You look beautiful” or “You can make it,” and it’s life changing to the other person. To you it’s nothing, but when God takes your natural and puts His super with it, it can impact that person’s destiny.

Today, remember, you are God’s voice in the earth.

When you speak to others, declare what God would say about them. Let your words be used to bring life, hope and blessing.

Speak as the oracles of God and be His mouthpiece everywhere you go.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing and using me. I surrender every area of my being to You. Use me to be a blessing to others. Give me Your peace, strength and joy as I keep my mind stayed on You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Connected To An Endless Supply Source…

Psalm 1:3  (KJV)

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

God’s plan is for you to prosper and be successful in every area of your life.

Some people might say, “I don’t see how you can say that with the economy like it is. All the experts are saying it’s going to get worse before it gets better.” That may be true in general, but it doesn’t have to be true for believers in Jesus.

We are connected to a supply line that will never run dry.

Don’t be talked in to having a bad year. The economy is not your source. God is your source. And God wants to bless you beyond your salary.

He wants to bless you beyond your normal income. He likes to do unusual things. He can bless you with what I call an explosive blessing!

That means, all of the sudden, unexpectedly, something happens that takes you to a new level. Old limitations are broken, and suddenly, you find yourself further than you ever dreamed!

The key is found in Psalm 1:1–2. We have to separate ourselves from the system of the world and set our heart and mind on the Word of God. When you meditate on His promises and follow His commands, you will experience these explosive blessings.

When you put Him first, you will be strong and stable, and whatever you do will prosper!

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father God, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my heart.
I submit every area of my life to You and put You first in everything I do.
Teach me Your ways so I can walk with You and experience everything You have in store for me.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Good Things For Your Future…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on Good Things For Your Future…

Psalm 30:5 (KJV)

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Did you know that God has already released good things into your future?

His favor covers your lifetime! When God laid out the plan for your life, He lined up the right people, the right circumstances, and the right breaks.

In your future, He’s already released favor, supernatural opportunities, and divine connections. The good breaks you need have already been preordained to come across your path. If you will stay in faith and go out each day and be a person of excellence, you’ll have times where it’s as if you just stumbled into God’s blessings.

You’ll look back and think, “How did I get to where I am? I’m not the most qualified, but I got the promotion. I didn’t deserve that break, but someone went out of their way to help me.” What happened

You walked into that favor that was already poured out on your path.

Today, no matter what you may be facing, focus on moving forward. He has already ordered your steps and arranged good things for you. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping because there is favor in store for your future!

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father God, thank You for the favor and blessing You have poured out upon my life.
I choose to look with my eyes of faith past my circumstances to the good future You have prearranged for me.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Putting Actions Behind Your Faith…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on Putting Actions Behind Your Faith…

2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)

“And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]”

Too often, it’s easy for people to get satisfied in life and think, “Well, I’m blessed.

I’ve got a roof over my head. I’ve got money to pay my bills.” And that’s good. But that’s not God’s best. God is a God of abundance. He wants you to not only have enough for your own needs, but He wants you to have so much left over that you can be a blessing to somebody else.

We need to go beyond thinking, “I’m blessed because I’ve got food on the table.” Let’s be grateful for what we have, but we can’t stop there.

We need to stretch our faith for others as well. When you have enough to meet the needs of others, that’s when you’re walking in the fullness of His blessing.

Today I encourage you to ask God to show you ways that you can be a blessing to someone else.

Put actions behind your faith even if you start with something small.

Don’t stop short of the fullness of His blessing.

Reach out and help others and watch God increase you in every area of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I desire to be used by You to help the people around me. Teach me to be sensitive to You, Holy Spirit, as I yield every area of my life to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Choose To Speak Encouragement…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on Choose To Speak Encouragement…

Proverbs 12:25 (KJV)

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up”

When you see someone who is struggling, a co-worker who is discouraged, a friend who is not up to par, how do you respond?

Our words can be what keeps a person going; our compliments can put a spring back into their step. Now more than ever, we need to automatically let the encouragement flow.

We need to tell others how much we love them, how we value them, and tell them that they are talented and creative. Always remember, with your words you carry life-giving water. You carry hope, healing, encouragement and new beginnings, and you can pour it out everywhere you go.

Today, choose to speak encouragement.

Choose to speak victory and faith. Instead of telling people what they’re doing wrong, instead of pointing out all their faults, find what they are doing right. Focus on the good.

There are already enough critical, judgmental people in the world. Let’s be people who lift up others and restore them.

Let’s be the light of Jesus in the world.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father God, thank You for speaking through me.
Thank You for using me to be a blessing to others.
Thank You for encouraging my heart as I find ways to encourage the people around me.
I love You and bless Your holy Name.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Allow Him To Share His Deep Secrets With You…

Chrisitan Perspectives Comments Off on Allow Him To Share His Deep Secrets With You…

God’s Deep Secrets

1 Corinthians 2:9–10 (KJV)

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Who in your life do you share your deepest secrets with?

Most people only share their inner thoughts with those who are closest to them; people they trust or people they’ve gone through experiences with. Do you know who God shares His secrets with?

The people who are closest to Him.

God wants to share His deepest secrets with you. He wants you to know what He thinks about you. He wants you to know about the plans He has for you. He wants to show you things you’ve never seen, heard about or even imagined.

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, not only are you His child, but you are also His friend. You are His closest companion. He wants to walk with you, talk with you and share with you.

This passage goes on to say, “Who can know a man’s thoughts except his own spirit?” As believers, God’s Spirit lives inside of us, revealing to us His very own heart. What a wonderful, amazing thought — we can know God’s thoughts because we are one with Him.

Open your heart and allow Him to share His deep secrets with you today!

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father in heaven, I am so humbled that You call me friend.
I am honored to be connected with You and invite You to share Your heart with me.
I surrender all that I am to You.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
